FALL ON THE PORCH & GOODBYE TO WAGNER FARMS FOR NOW......

I admit that fall/autumn whatever you want to call it is my favorite time of year (that is until we have an awful winter and then my favorite is spring guess I am a fair weather friend to the seasons). I was so excited to put away Halloween and decorate for fall/Thanksgiving.
As I have mentioned before on this blog we are VERY lucky to have an awesome farm stand very close to our house so off we went on Friday for pumpkins, etc. There was this group....
 and this group.....
grasses and more....
hard to decide....
And finally this big boy 346 pound, Idaho's largest pumpkin!
So besides pumpkins we bought Indian corn and just tied a pretty ribbon (inserted twine in the back to have a tie for attaching the corn) added a little acorn bell and ready to decorate.
We went the first time and bought pumpkins and corn then...
We went back on Saturday because hubby said "we need more pumpkins" - that big boy in the corner weighed over 40 pounds - hubby had to carry that one to the car.
The final trip on Sunday was to purchase some of their corn stalks.  Sunday was their last day for the season (they will still be selling eggs) so see you next spring Wagner Farms!

  1. Hello Joy~
I love how wonderfully simple your fall porch is. What fun the pumpkin pictures are, since I didn't venture out on any large pumpkin excursions this year. And I love the ones you picked out! Have a great ThanksGiving!
