CHRISTMAS BASKET

A tisket a tasket a Christmas basket! I recently put together a basket for someone very special in my life.  This is the time when those items that you have been making will come in very handy.
I have several different cookie cutters that make tea cookies - cookies with a cut-out so the cookie will sit on the rim of a tea cup.
I let these cookies get brown around the edges because that is how my recipient likes them.
Cut out your cookies, brush with milk or cream and sprinkle with Glitter Crystals.
In the oven until the desired doneness.
Because I was mailing these I wrapped each cookie individually in food safe waxed tissue.
Added some Christmas Cinnamon-Apple jelly, some cute holiday napkins....
An oven mitt, Chilly Willy kitchen towels, a candy tree....
Whole grain pancake mix, some caramel-apple jam, an hors d'oevures spoon.....
Ready to wrap with cellophane, a pretty ribbon, lots of love and get this in the mail.

  1. Oh Joy, you have been so very busy! Wow, you have gotten so much done for the holidays already.
I forgot to say how much I love your Mercury glass trees. Although I have seen a few this year, I'm trying not to buy anymore. But a forest would be a delight wouldn't it?

Your porch is so festive and fabulous! And your cookies and all the goodies in your gift basket are so special and wonderful. They certainly will let your friend know just how special they are as well.
    Merry Christmas!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words. I have been busy but having fun for sure. A forest would be wonderful - I found the ones I used at Big Lots by accident was looking for something else ad spied them and returned the others I had that were more ornate (and twice as expensive) I like the simple ones. The porch does look nice and not PINK - have no idea what happened with the photos - my photos were true to color and for some reason they were pink on the blog. Oh well....thank you again. j.
