LOVE LETTER TO SUNRIVER RESORT

Nestled next to the Deschutes River on 3,300 acres of pristine high desert, lush meadows and beautiful pine forests, in central Oregon, Sunriver, is a wonderful destination resort.Something for everyone at this wonderful resort. We just spent (5) relaxing days here during what must be called the "quiet" season. During other times of the year amenities such as golf, tennis, swimming, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting, fly fishing, biking, hiking, bird watching, spa and fitness centers, are available.  We have been coming here for over 20 years  but my sister and her family have been coming here since the beginning of the resort.  This resort is the perfect family resort - stop by the village store on your way in and get your groceries (no sales tax in Oregon, woo-hoo) park your car and bicycle the rest of the time you are here - there are 35 miles of paved bike paths.

 Sunriver Resort recently opened the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center (SHARC).This brand new, state-of-the-art facility features outdoor and indoor pools, a lazy river, two water slides, an outdoor adult hot tub, tot splash & play areas, event space that includes an amphitheater for live music, a cafe, park, picnic areas, playground, bocce ball court, basketball court, and a year-round tubing hill. Resort guests receive an all-access pass.

The fabulous condo we stayed in featured (2) master suites and an additional bedroom with (4) bunks, plus an additional 1.5 baths, spacious living area, beautiful kitchen, large dining table, hot tub,WiFi, gas BBQ, cable television, bicycles, fireplace, ping-pong, sleeps (8), everything you would ever need in the fully appointed kitchen, beautifully decorated, quiet, lovely neighborhood.  Perfect for a family gathering.  Too many features for me to list all of them.
